Rafael started practicing Bikram and Vinyasa Yoga over a decade ago to compliment his martial arts training and initially used Yoga as a rehabilitation tool to treat his injuries.

After commencing his yoga journey, Rafael realized that yoga not only helped to diagnose physical weaknesses and improve overall physical health, but also has huge mental health benefits that could be applied off the mat into all areas of life.

In order to take his practice to the next level and be able to share the benefits of yoga with family and friends, in 2019 Rafael completed his 200 hour teacher training qualifications in Brazil, and further training in the last two years with Power Living which has allowed yoga to take a central role in his life.

Rafael delivers a potent and dynamic class with a deep connection and unity of breath and movement.
Rafael is popular with Men’s groups and building confidence in students, increasing self-awareness and achieving a flow state.

It is his deep love and passion for yoga which he shares with all who attend his classes.

Born and raised in the Northern Beaches, Rafael is passionate about health, nature, the ocean and the conservation of the planet.
